Daniel Marsh, son of Daniel Marsh, Sr. and Lucinda Hall, was born April 1, 1843 in Hartford, Windsor Co., Vermont and died in April 1930 at Thayer, Neosho Co. Kansas. He married Sarah Bell Coppel Sept. 7, 1865 at Topeka, Mason Co., Illinois. She was born Dec. 16, 1846 near Manchester, Adams Co., Ohio, daughter of John W. Coppel and Hester Ann Taylor, and died June 26, 1913 near Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. Their infant son, Fred, was born and died in Taylor Co., Iowa.
