Lena Diana Hunter, daughter of William H. Hunter and Lucy Breckinridge, was born Dec. 29, 1895 near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Aug. 17, 1980 at Fairfield, Jefferson Co., Iowa. She married Clement Dee Hewitt July 30, 1919 at Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born Sept. 1, 1897 in Platte Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa, son of Clement Deforest Hewitt, and Mary V. Deaver, and died Jan. 14, 1967 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. His death date on the headstone appears to be an error as his obituary appeared in the Jan. 26, 1967 Clearfield Chronicle.
