Anna was the daughter of John and Bridget Wolfe. In February of 1874, she was united in marriage to Joseph Collison in Illinois. they were the parents of 9 children: Arthur, William, John, Joseph, Frank, Maurice, Fred, Daniel, and May. They also raised a niece, Anna Wolfe.
