Sarah Dilahan Mahan, daughter of John Stephen Mahan and Nancy Woodson, was born Oct. 11, 1829 in Mercer Co., Kentucky and died Dec. 21, 1913 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Leonard Turley McCoun Dec. 12, 1849 in Hendricks Co., Indiana.
