Polly Rawson was born June 17, 1807 in Oneida Co., New York, daughter of Daniel Rawson and Polly Strong, and died Dec. 12, 1871 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Frederick Cox Aug. 12, 1833 at Brownstown, Jackson Co., Indiana. She is buried near her daughter Lydia and husband John Campbell Meehan. See separate entry under his name for a photo of the family plot. Her husband, Frederick Cox, is buried in the Mohler Cemetery near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
