Isabelle was the daughter of Miles Scott and Mary Ann Whitbeck. She married Charles Ibson on 10 Apr 1887 in Fonda, Pocahontas, Iowa. She was the mother of 7 children in 1900 and only 5 of them were living. They were the parents of Edward, Ernestine, Carl, Clair, Clyde, Marjorie, and Irene.
