Emma Charlotte Kinney, daughter of George Kinney and Martha Ann Round, was born Dec. 1, 1877 at Platteville, Taylor Co., Iowa, and died Sept. 12, 1952 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Elmer Elsworth Green Oct. 8, 1905 at St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri. Her obituary gives her birth date as 1878 and the marriage date as 1906. Missouri Marriage Records, 1805-2002 confirm the marriage date as 1905. If age at death is correct the birth year on the gravestone should be correct.
