Mary Anna "Annie" Maxwell, daughter of John Wesley Maxwell and Mary Catherine Townsend, was born June 20, 1877 east of Braddyville in Buchanan Twp., Page Co., Iowa and died Mar. 1, 1942 at Clearmont, Nodaway Co., Missouri. She never married. She is buried next to the family stone of her parents in the family plot in Shearer Cemetery.
