NOTE: Remainder of inscription not visible. Per recording done by Mrs. Dorothy Henriksen for the Cass County Genealogical Society many years ago, the stone was also inscribed:

**Mrs. Henriksen recorded the Elizabeth Johnson grave as between the Samuel Johnson and J. Trailer graves, but when the cemetery was walked in Oct. 2011 the Trailer gravestone was instead found between Samuel and Elizabeth's. Both the E. Johnson and Trailer stones are in bad condition and staked up, so possibly the stones fell over at some point in the past and were staked up in a different order than they were originally.(?)
