Forrest was first married to and widowed by Hazel Eleanor Robison Leathers (she is buried in 2nd.201).

On this Leathers family headstone is a memorial inscription for Capt. Robert Lee Leathers, 1931-1960, who evidently died near Okinawa, Japan. He is not buried in this plot, however. Son of Forrest Wesley Leathers and Lapha June Gire Leathers.
