James Rigsby, son of James Rigsby and Susannah Wright, was born Feb. 15, 1793 in Wake Co., North Carolina and died Oct. 28, 1867 in Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Sarah Thompson Oct. 27, 1817 in Scottsville, Allen Co., Kentucky.
