Lawrence Raymond was the son of Anthony & Caroline Locher and was born in Monticello, IA. Lawrence resided in Farley, Iowa and was an accomplished in dentistry, baseball and swimming. His first marriage was to Gertrude Tuel who died in 1919. Together they had two daughters: Lois & Catherine. Lawrence's second marriage was to Marie NEE O'Meara. Together they had 4 children: Thomas; James; and twins John M. & Jane.
