Eva May Kirby, daughter of William Wesley Kirby and Anna Mary Cree, was born Sept. 23, 1889 in Bingham, Sheridan Co., Nebraska and died April 2, 1966 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. She married Chester Arthur Akers Jan. 22, 1908 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born June 30, 1885 in Taylor Co., Iowa, son of Benjamin Franklin Akers and Harriet Josephine Banister, and died June 2, 1968 in Leon, Decatur Co., Iowa.
