Edgar Howe Mitchell, son of Olney Mitchell and Alice Howe, was born Oct. 6, 1887 in Clayton Twp., near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Feb. 15, 1969 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Harriett Rebecca Redman Aug. 10, 1910 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born Jan. 3, 1890 in Hopkins, Nodaway Co., Missouri, daughter of Ulysses Ward Redman and Isabel Williamson, and died April 8, 1978 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa.
