Hemburn Riley, son of John Riley and Teresa Benn, was born Dec. 6, 1822 in Frederick Co., Virginia and died Feb. 19, 1905 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Eleanor Williamson Sept. 16, 1851. She was born Sept. 20, 1837 in Indiana, daughter of John Williamson and Mary Mitchel, and died Mar. 13, 1926 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
