George is my G. Father and was the son of Frank. George was quite successful starting as a farmer and then becoming a businessman,minority owner of the Oxford Hayloader Co, Board Member of the bank,etc, With first wife had Charles and Fred and after she passed had Robert, Geo and Francis with 2nd wife Rose Heider. George died relatively young with colon cancer. Went to Mayo clinic for treatment.

Cont. My father , Francis G, was only 8 when his father passed and he recalled the trip to the cemetery in his fathers surrey behind the horse drawn hearse. Later George's surrey was purchased by my uncle Ed Dvorak and I played on it as a child. Today I still have the surrey lights from the surrey. George's obit is very descriptive of his life, accomplishments, etc.
