John Wesley Fickess II, son of John Wesley Fickess and Celesta Catherine Coleman, was born Oct. 7, 1870 at Liscomb, Marshall Co., Iowa and died May 19, 1947 in Cedar Falls, Black Hawk Co., Iowa. He married Naomi Butterton Jan. 1, 1896 in Audubon Co., Iowa. She was born Feb. 28, 1878 in North Dorchester, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada, daughter of Fredrick Butterton and Emma Margaret Lee, and died Feb. 25, 1936 near New Market, Taylor Co., Iowa.
