Elsie Mae Laird, daughter of Jesse Laird and Sarah Elizabeth Hollis, was born Mar. 5, 1881 in Taylor Co., Iowa and died April 25, 1958 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. She married Nathan Isaac Sexton Dec. 24, 1899 in Holt Twp., north of Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born Mar. 23, 1871 near Cainsville, Harrison Co., Missouri, son of Isaac Free Sexton and Elizabeth Sparks, and died Sept. 13, 1944 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
