Thomas Jefferson Davis, son of Abednego Stephens Davis and Almenia Barns, was born Dec. 19, 1844 in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., Ohio and died Aug. 3, 1915 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary George Harlan April 15, 1866 in Taylor Co., Iowa.
