Carrie Marie Rogers, daughter of Melvin Seymour Rogers and Hannah Stevens, was born Dec. 28, 1877 in Taylor Co., Iowa and died Oct. 2, 1961 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Thomas Morgan Utter Sept. 23, 1896 at Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born May 12, 1874 in Mount Gilead, Morrow Co., Ohio, son of Joseph Alexander Utter and Catherine Henry Levering, and died Sept. 27, 1954 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
