Helen Gertrude Abarr, daughter of Alvin John Abarr and Elizabeth Lillian Harris, was born Mar. 17, 1911 in Ringgold Co., Iowa. She married George Lyle Posten Oct. 3, 1936 at Plattsmouth, Cass Co., Nebraska. He was born Aug. 25, 1912 in Taylor Co., Iowa, son of George Payne Posten and Maude Alice Fleming, and died Sept. 23, 1972 in Creston, Union Co., Iowa.
