Robert Randolph Allen, son of Crawford Allen and Jane Gillespie, was born Dec. 14, 1849 in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland and died April 19, 1923 in Grimes, Polk Co., Iowa. He married Clara Miriam Draper Dec. 9, 1892 in Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., Iowa.
