John George Joslyn, son of Harrison Joslyn and Matilda Mann, was born Sept. 9, 1855 in Jones Co., Iowa and died Jan. 16, 1943 south of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Emmaline May Severns Dec. 25, 1880 in Taylor Co., Iowa. His last name is misspelled on the headstone. His obituary and other family members spell it Joslyn.
