William Henry Adams, son of David Caldwell Adams and Nancy E. Lambert, was born May 6, 1840 in Parke Co., Indiana and died Jan. 23, 1918 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Catherine Blakely July 3, 1869 in Jefferson Co., Iowa. She was born Oct. 6, 1849 in Jefferson Co., Iowa, daughter of Charles Blakely and Licetta Lemmons, and died Sept. 7, 1942 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
