Robert Boyse Jewell, son of Robert and Mary Jewell, was born Dec. 31, 1840 in Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania and died Mar. 21, 1922 in Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. He married Elizabeth Ridenour Sept. 12, 1861 at Woodhull, Henry Co., Illinois. His obituary gives his birth year as 1839.
