William Elmer Shaw, son of Shepherd Shaw and Mary Caro Wilson, was born Oct. 30, 1871 in Shelby Co., Ohio and died Dec. 15, 1945 in Eugene, Lane Co., Oregon. He married Grace A. Roberts July 16, 1894 at Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born Oct. 19, 1877 in New York State, daughter of William H. Roberts and Emma J. Gardner, and died Oct. 15, 1923 in St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri.
