James W. Pickrel, son of Emanuel Pickrel and Elizabeth Becker, was born Nov. 28, 1903 at Silver City, Mills Co., Iowa and died Jan. 21, 1989 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. He married Ann Sophie Hottendorf at Olathe, Johnson Co., Kansas.
