Ulysses Grant Cooper, son of Andrew Jackson Cooper and Cornelia Ann King, was born Oct. 22, 1863 in Schuyler Co., Illinois and died Oct. 11, 1902 near New Market, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Jessie Marie Seymour Feb. 27, 1889 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
