Lillian Dale Newton, daughter of John Isaac Newton and Elizabeth Gertrude Batley, was born Dec. 6, 1857 near Allamuchy, Warren Co., New Jersey and died Feb. 16, 1928 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa. She married James Henry Gray Mar. 19, 1882 in Ringgold Co., Iowa.
