John Isaac Newton, son of Isaac Newton and Susan Blackwell, was born July 24, 1827 in Warren Co., New Jersey and died Dec. 21, 1893 in Ringgold Co., Iowa. He married Elizabeth Gertrude Batley Jan. 24, 1854 at Warrensville, Warren Co., New Jersey.
