Maria Elizabeth Criswell, daughter of William H. Criswell and Matilda Wishard, was born Aug. 27, 1847 in Guernsey Co., Ohio and died Aug. 25, 1927 in Blockton, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married David Alexander Nulph Feb. 1, 1872 at Afton, Union Co., Iowa.
