Born on a farm outside of Raymond, the son of Frank and Catherine Clarens Frost. He served in the United States Army during World War II where he received the Bronze Star.
He married Anita M. Welbes on Nov. 15, 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waterloo.
