Lawrence Pershing Miers, son of Manuel Miers and Urcella Williams, was born Dec. 22, 1918 in Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa and died July 18, 1995 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary Faye Glass Mar. 29, 1937 at Oregon, Holt Co., Missouri. She was born April 10, 1918 in Virginia, daughter of James Mallieu Glass and Nora Ellen Baker, and died May 13, 2009 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
