Glen Elmer Ernest, son of August Ernest and Hannah Magdeline Dietch or Ditch, was born April 20, 1893 in Jackson Twp., southeast of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Oct. 13, 1981 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. He married 1) Harriett Roxanna Lee Jan. 26, 1922 and 2) Laurel Alice Worley Churchill Feb. 8, 1941 at Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri.
