Phyllis Alverda Rankin, daughter of Frank Oliver Rankin and Grace Swearingen Young, was born April 11, 1911 in Madison Co., Iowa and died Dec. 4, 2004 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Elza McMillin Dec. 17, 1931 at Bethany, Harrison Co., Missouri. He was born Mar. 4, 1907 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa, son of John Edward McMillin and Mary Catherine Downing, and died Feb. 16, 1977 in Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri.
