Stewart was the 2nd of four children born to Charles Stewart Morris and Myrtle Alice George. His siblings: Hazel, Pearl and George.

He is buried next to his mother who died in 1901 and in a row with his father and his stepmother. Record show his was buried on 2 Aug 1908. He was only 12 years old.
