Herbert Mallory Pierce, son of Gilbert Pierce and Jane Mallory, was born July 24, 1871 in Taylor Co., Iowa (his obituary gives the year as 1870) and died Aug. 27, 1954 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Alice Eunice Lacock Aug. 25, 1892 in Taylor Co., Iowa.
