Polly Alice Cope, daughter of George W. Cope and Luhamey Barnett, was born Jan. 23, 1886 in Jackson Co., Kentucky and died Dec. 16, 1978 in Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri. She married William Orin Patton Dec. 24, 1904 in Rockcastle Co., Kentucky. He was born June 15, 1885 at Derby, Lucas Co., Iowa, son of John Zion Patton and Sarah Davis, and died April 19, 1961 in Iowa City, Johnson Co., Iowa.
