Pleasant Hill Cemetery is also known as Estes Cemetery. It is located about 8 miles SE of Glenwood or 4 miles NW of Tabor in Rawles Twp. Entrance is at the SE corner. The S section has approximately 30 conifers, there are no burials in that section. Because of all the conifers it is very hard to distinguish that it is actually a cemetery as all monuments are N of the trees. At one time the Pleasant Hill Church was a short distance E of the cemetery. It started in 1853, later combined with the Christian Church in Glenwood. The sign that now hangs on the gate of the cemetery was made & placed in 1999 & donated by members of the Hall family. 3 monuments of the Hall family can be found in the cemetery.
There are no post-ems notes associated with this record.
