Block 6 Lot 4 Grave 6 See history in Kimballton book. One of the Lillehoj men was visiting church members as was the tradition in Danish Churches. This visit was to collect money to support the church. It was also the tradition that you negotiated with the members for the support. Jorgen came out of the field when they approached the farm with a large bag filled with cockelburs to burn. After a proper negotiation, Jorgen returned to the field and sometime later came back with a five dollar bill he was shaking and trying to clean. He had went to his money stash and gotten the five, evidently from under ground. This was also not uncommon during that time. This story from a son.
