The first cemetery consisted of less than one acre of land which was donated by Charles & Edwin Booth in April, 1885, and through the years, has grown to 11.5 acres of land.
The Woodbury County Genealogical Society walked the cemetery & recorded all graves existing in the Fall of 1995. They contributed a copy of this project to the Moville Library and also maintain a copy in their society.
