His first wife, Rita Clay Parker was born MAY-22-1920 in San Saba County, Texas, (daughter of Willis Clay Parker and Bessie Miller) and died APR-22-1945 in Fort Sumner, De Baca County, New Mexico and is buried in Encino Cemetery, Encino, New Mexico.
