Amanda Ann E. (Kimball) Fay Scarbrough was born in 1846, died 1876. She married James S. Benadom, born 1845 in Ohio, died December 24, 1916 in Iowa, buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa Jackson County, IA. James served during the Civil War in Company E 31st Infantry.
