Benjamin T. is actually Benjamin F. Gibbs and a son-in-law of John. Daughter, Maria (Mary) Eliza married Benjamin Gibbs in October 1850. The census of 1850 happened in September and Benjamin had already moved in at the Claypoole home. For some reason his last name was adjusted in error either by or for the census-taker--not aware of the long term confusion it would cause descendants.
